About Us

Our mission is to create a successful partnership with each client throughout the construction process. We establish lasting relationships and gain trust through the exceptional performance from every member of the construction team, delivering quality workmanship and timely execution at a fair price.

Our Story

CL Webb Construction is owned and operated by Chris Webb and a closely-knit team of native Arkansans who bring a traditional American work ethic to every job, every bid, and every client interaction every day. We aren’t the largest or most well-known construction company in the area. What we are is earnest and reputable— and most importantly, we’re your neighbor, so we’re committed to keeping Northwest Arkansas a beautiful place to call home.

We’ve been hired for many different types of construction projects— from a curved interior ceiling made from the aged wood planks of wine barrels to the Accoya wood cabinetry and trim inside the suites of the new north end zone of Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. We’ve even renovated beautiful historic properties. If you can imagine it, we can build it!

As a mid-career professional, the strength I bring to CL Webb Construction is vision. Many business owners in the construction industry are gifted in working with their hands— and there’s great value in their workmanship and skill. It’s the backbone of our business and what we promise each client. But to keep a team of talented craftsmen busy, there’s also plenty of behind-the-scenes planning, communication, and fiscal management. My role is to ensure we are working timely and productively, with a focus on quality, schedule, and budget. And, that we exceed our clients’ expectations.

I got my start in the industry as a subcontractor managing exterior construction projects, specifically for soffit, facia, siding, gutters, and roofing. Once exteriors no longer offered a challenge, I began “flipping” houses. To this day, I find it satisfying to take less-than-desirable properties and transform them into new spaces that families can proudly call home. After 30+ flips, I was bitten by the “new construction” bug and obtained licensure as a Residential Contractor.

Again, it was a new set of challenges that excited me. More recently, we signed on to build our first custom home for a client who initially sought our services to rehab their existing older house. Our next frontier is commercial property. We’ve recently obtained our Commercial Contractor license and are ready to renovate commercial spaces on a larger scale.

Today, our company is proud to say we can do it all. Residentially we are equipped to handle interiors, exteriors, outdoor living spaces, single room remodels, additions, basement finishing, kitchen remodels, new construction builds, and even custom homes. Our infrastructure includes a reliable network of trusted subcontractors, outstanding relationships with realtors and title companies and agreements with local property management firms. Our foundation remains a positive, team-oriented environment where personal accountability and integrity directly links to client satisfaction.

When I’m not working, I enjoy river fishing and being at home with my wife, Julie, as well as spending time with my busy teenagers (18-year old Cassie and 16-year old Luke). We’re very family-oriented. Perhaps one day the kids may join Julie and me in the business. For now, we will continue operating conservatively, taking on new challenges, pacing our growth, and hopefully, earning your business and future referrals.
